Skye Brooks

Skye is a lifelong gardener and plant enthusiast. He has a background in horticulture and a passion for growing food. He has operated his own landscaping and tree care business since 2003, serving residential clients in the Fraser Valley, Greater Vancouver area and the Southern Cariboo. He has worked with several farms and nurseries to beautify and increase productivity (Emma’s Acres, Cedar Grove Farm, John Dyck Nursery). Recently he began Frost Pocket Nursery, specializing in food producing perennials for edible landscaping, homesteading and permaculture.

Skye has long term, firsthand experience with the many benefits that come with growing a vegetable garden and edible perennials. With the addition of a high-quality greenhouse, food production can go through the roof in terms of quantity, quality and variety; and the growing season is dramatically lengthened. The goal of Frost Pocket Landscape and Greenhouse is to help you transform your outdoor living space into a productive, beautiful and abundant landscape for you and your family.

He lives with his wife and daughter on their farm in Bridge Lake, BC.
